The next meeting of Robert Kocharyan and Ilham Aliev will take place on June 4, in Bucharest. Recently, foreign affairs minister of Armenia, Vardan Oskanyan told journalists during a press conference that the parties are not going to sign any documents. “We haven’t discussed anything about signing any documents, but in any case there still have to be agreements made concerning the principles. There are some principles that have been agreed on, but there are others remaining, that is why the presidents are going to meet in order to try to solve these problems too”, announced Oskanyan and added, “There are some documents on the table containing principles. The presidents are going to work on them. If they manage to agree on these too, they will later try to make an agreement”. In regard to the recent visit of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen to the region Mr. Oskanyan said that the purpose of this visit was to note how important the upcoming meeting of the presidents was. The co-chairmen didn’t meet Karabakh officials during their visit. “As far as I know, Mr. Ghukasyan was out of the country during that time, I think he was in Moscow. That was the only reason. Otherwise they would meet, they could even meet in Yerevan”, explained the minister of foreign affairs.
