Georgian president Sahakashvili has ordered to found a governmental commission with the purpose of discussing the issue concerning leaving the CIS. The commission is headed by the Georgian prime-minister. “The issue of leaving the CIS is being discussed at all levels and ministries, as well as in the ministry of foreign affairs”, said Georgian prime-minister Zurab Noghaideli. He also said that people would be informed about the relevant procedures periodically. According to the “ITAR-TASS”, the head of the foreign affairs commission of the Russian Duma, Konstantin Kosachyov, said the following in regard to this, “There is no trouble for Russia if Georgia and Ukraine leave the CIS, but this will be their mistake”.
