It is already clear that the US Ambassador to Armenia, Mr. John Evans, will be called back to the US soon. A group of Armenian Diaspora representatives of the US are going to organize a demonstration called “Yellow ribbon” against this decision of the US Department of State because, as they say, this has to do with the announcement of Mr. Evans saying the truth about the Armenian Genocide. According to some American presses, Mr. Evans will not only be called back, but also will have to leave the political field. “No Ambassador works all their lives, and as I am here now, I am still implementing the US policy in Armenia”, said Mr. Evans yesterday during the tree planting, “I serve the president of my country and I don’t know yet how long I will work in Armenia”. We also asked the Ambassador how the US would like the idea of giving the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline to Russia along with the fifth energetic bloc of Hrazdan, but he didn’t answer to this question and said, “It’s Earth day today, lets focus on the trees”.
