“Today, both the opposition and the authorities have sectors of political figures, who don’t want to change the situation of the country, but rather they want to change their situation so that they can get power,” says leader of the “New Times” political party Aram Karapetyan.
According to him, some oppositional political parties are currently leading negotiations with the authorities in order to secure themselves in the National Assembly in 2007.
“The opposition doesn’t want to change anything; it simply wants to secure itself,” says Aram Karapetyan. The political leader doesn’t want to mention any names for the time being.
