“The owner of the Armenian “Great Valley” brandy company, MP Tigran Arzakantsyan spread rumors that he had been beaten because he owed a debt worth almost one million dollar to a casino in Moscow”, writes the Russian web page “Vodka”. The same page writes that according to “Mediamax”, Arzakantsyan lost about one million dollars at the Kutuzov casino of Moscow at the end of January and as he hadn’t that much money with him the casino management decided to postpone the payment date for one month. But Tigran Arzakantsyan appeared in the casino only in two months and tried to avoid paying and started a conflict with them. According to the same sources of “Mediamax” the security officers of the casino had to make Arzakantsyan calm down and he left the casino without any injuries and in good condition. But a week later Arzakantsyan said that he had been beaten, had physical injuries and legal proceedings had been instituted connected with that case. The sources of www.vodka.com web page deny the rumors in the Armenian press claiming that Armenian businessman Ruben Hayrapetyan is a shareholder of the casino. According to the sources of the “Mediamax”, MP Ruben Hayrapetyan had sold his share in Kutuzov casino two months before that incident and had nothing to do with the case.
Arzakantsyan’s cell-phone was turned off once again yesterday. Rumor has it that he doesn’t meet many people recently and does his best to keep his place a secret. The only thing we managed to find out is that he is still in Moscow.
