According to the Armenian-Russian interstate contract, it is expected to start a 4 million dollar construction project in Gyumri. The funding will help reconstruct Russian churches, the former building of the Pedagogical Institute in Gyumri, as well as some half-constructed buildings in the 8th Military Neighborhood. The first stage of the project (planning the project and budget) is over. There are no specific deadlines for the construction, but the Russian side has promised to complete construction as soon as possible.
