Armenian Republican Party: does it have anything to do with it?

17/04/2006

Head of the “Great Valley’ company and MP of the National Assembly’s Armenian Republican Party’s faction Tigran Arzakantsyan was beaten by some security officials at Moscow’s “Kutuzov” casino for refusing to pay the 850,000 dollars that he had lost. There still isn’t any information. According to Andranik Markaryan, this event shouldn’t be politicized and it’s unnecessary for the party to react to everything that happens in “far corners of the world”.

“What does ARP have anything to do with that? The party gets interested and helps in case of need, but not at the state and political level,” said Markaryan.
