“168 Hours” had informed its readers a couple of days ago that on March 7, the workers of the National Security Service of Armenia had encountered a large amount of drugs and pills after investigating prisoners at the “Nubarashen” jailhouse of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia. “168 Hours” asked press speaker for the minister of Justice Ara Saghatelyan whether or not this was true. The latter had denied it by saying that the National Security Service hasn’t done any investigation in a jailhouse. However, during a press conference a couple of days ago, chief police officer of the Yerevan police division and general Nerses Nazaryan talked about the results of the investigation at the “Nubarashen” jailhouse, according to which one of the workers at the “Nubarashen” jail A. Hakobyan was arrested for being suspected of supplying pills to some prisoners.
