We asked ARF representative, president’s advisor Bagrat Esayan whether their party members declare their property and resources according to the law. “I assure you for 100% that all they follow the relevant law and declare their property. As for your question whether they declare all what they have or just a part of it, please note that no one can guarantee such a thing. I can’t say either yes, or no. This is an issue which was outlined by the GRECO. We should apply effective mechanisms of control. This problem is for future, but now we don’t have any mechanisms of controlling. According to the mentioned law the taxation services don’t have a right to check whether the provided information is true or not. The only mechanism provided by this law is that any Mass Media representative can publish any declarations of property of officials”.
