Dead wild birds were found in the Ashotsk region of Shirak Marz, which neighbors Turkey. Yesterday it was officially announced that after lab expertise no bird flu was found. However the residents of the region do not quite believe in the official announcement. According to them they have informed the appropriate bodies about finding dead birds and the latter have only burned those. It is forbidden to sell poultry in the markets of Shirak Marz.
