Three residents of 15 Buzand street (Nune Varduni, Susana Poghosyan and Smbat Melkonyan) will go out on a hunger strike today in front of the ombudsman’s office. They are demanding that the ombudsman and the Constitutional Court defend their rights and give them a home compensation equivalent to that of market prices. President of the “Northern Avenue residents” committee Vachagan Hakobyan said that if the Justice Ministry doesn’t interfere, they will be able to register the “Victims of State Needs” NGO, which will defend the rights of the residents of Northern Avenue, the Dalma Fields and others.
