“Igdir will always stay part of Azerbaijan. There can be no discussions on opening the border with Armenia if there are any contradictions with the interests of Azerbaijan”, said head of Igdir Vilayet Nuraddin Aras. “Today the territories of Azerbaijan are occupied. If Armenia presents the 11 regions of Turkey as their territory and wants to get those territories back, as well as petitions the young generation to struggle for those territories, we can’t agree to open the borders”, he said.
