A committee on the Karabagh conflict will be founded during the spring session of Lili-Mejlis of Azerbaijan. The Chairman of the Great Deed Party (GDP) and deputy of the Azerbaijani Parliament Fazil Gazanfaroghlu informed that signatures will be collected from deputies regarding the solution of this issue: “Our purpose is to prepare a certain package of recommendations by the committee, which will be aimed towards resolving the Karabagh conflict and the committee will carry out its actions based on that packet”. The Deputy has also said that at the beginning he presented the parliament with founding a Karabagh political party faction. Since that was rejected, a committee was founded. Gazanfaroghlu also mentioned that the 18 signatures were collected from government and opposition representatives.
