According to “A1+”, sport reporter and founder of “Soccer and more” newspaper Suren Baghdasaryan denies the rumors that he is going against Ruben Hayrapetyan by accusing him of burning his car. Suren Baghdasaryan’s car, a 1990 US 990 state licensed “Toyota Prado” which was located not far from the “555” gas station near the “Soccer and more” newspaper edition, was burnt on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. A part of the car’s backseat has been burned. The fire was put out without the help of firefighters. Yesterday, there were rumors going around in the media that Suren Baghdasaryan had accused president of the Armenian Soccer Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan, claiming that Ruben had tried to “scare” Suren by doing that. Suren Baghdasaryan told “A1+” that he denies those rumors and claimed that journalists were doing that so they could deepen the conflict between me and Ruben Harutyunyan.
“I said some things after the event, but journalists didn’t need to make up a story and deepen the conflict that I have with him. I am not making any comments for the time being because the case is under investigation,” said Suren Baghdasaryan.
Despite Suren’s clarification, the president of the Armenian Soccer Federation made an official announcement.
“Despite the fact that Suren Baghdasaryan has recently accused me a lot recently, has made offensive comments and the mass media has tried to put me down and make me go against Baghdasaryan, however, I have not said anything. The reason for that was that everyone knows how Suren can be. But since Suren Baghdasaryan once again accused me of a serious crime and announced that I was the one that organized burning his car, I officially announce that, starting today, I will appeal to the General Prosecutor’s office of Armenia and call Suren Baghdasaryan to clarify why he has accused me, why he has offended me. I also announce that I am going to make sure that this case is out in the open and make it public.”
