Oil reached Georgia

Yesterday, after Turkish Prime-Minister Rejep Taib Erdoghan met with Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli, he said that Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan were planning on exploiting the “Baku-Tbilisi-Erzrum” gas pipeline by the end of the year. “The main goal of cooperation between Turkey and Georgia is to provide the transfer of the Turkmen gas to Turkey via the Caspian Sea. Besides that, the first oil portion was reached to Georgia by Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan pipeline and soon the oil will reach Jeyhayn”, he informed. The ministers also touched upon the construction of the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku railways during the Georgian-Turkish business session.
