The World Bank is planning to give 5 million dollars to Armenia to prevent the penetration of bird flu in our country. The speaker of the Yerevan representative officer from the Bank, Vigan Sargsyan, informed “Regnum” that at this stage the Armenian government is negotiating over the provision of the loan and discussing primary issues. All the issues regarding the loan and its implementation will be clarified within a month. For the same purpose, the UNFAO has given 35,000 dollars to Armenia and the money will be aimed towards organizing a plan according to which the migration of birds will be clear.
