During our conversation with Andranik Margaryan he approved the rumors that the coalition is going to nominate Armen Harutyunyan for the ombudsman’s position. “We came to the conclusion not to nominate party representatives, but to nominate a person who is advocated by all the coalition parties at the same time”, says Andranik Margaryan. We asked the prime-minister whether the “Republican” party representatives liked Larisa Alaverdyan’s methods of working: “She interpreted all her rights and the responsibilities of other people like she wanted. If there were any shortcomings and “free spaces” in the law she interpreted it in the way she wanted, which was not so good. Her activities were out of the field and she didn’t do what she was supposed to. We don’t have any conflicts or arguments with her, but I think she doesn’t work like an ombudsman, but she was always bringing up her own opinions”.
