There is rumor going around that Manouk Gasparyan is backed by Andranik Margaryan. And although often there are negative ideas regarding the powers backing him, it is a fact that Hranoush Kharatyan, Souren Zolyan and Stepan Grigoryan (Armat) are in Manouk Gasparyan’s party (Party of Democratic Forces). During our conversation with Manouk Gasparyan he told us that he would be happy to see Hranoush Kharatyan and Souren Zolyan in his party. “But they don’t want to be members of my party, they are just my advisors”, said Manouk Gasparyan.
