Recently the RA president, co-chairmen of OSCE Minsk group and other people say that the conflict of Karabakh may be solved very soon. After all these announcements Karabakh president of Karabagh Arkadi Ghukasyan said that he didn’t think so and was rather suspicious regarding whether the problem would be solved soon or not. Probably R. Kocharyan knows something that A. Ghukasyan doesn’t know. Anyway, yesterday the head of Karabakh Azeri union, Nizami Bakhmanov made a positive announcement too upon leaving from Karabakh. After meeting with OSCE co-chairmen N. Bakhmanov said to journalists: “It seems to me that the conflict will be solved in 2006”. He also said that in case anything threated the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, they would use military power. And the most interesting idea of Bakhmanov is the following: “Azerbaijan and Armenia are very close to the solution of the conflict regulation’s current stage, which concerns opening a corridor from Aghdam to Nakhidjevan (Aghdam-Shoushi-Lachin-Goris-Nakhidjevan)”.
