The most interesting topic of the conversation of yesterday’s meeting of Kocharyan and Putin was the raise of the gas price. In regard to this, Vladimir Putin said to one of the Russian media representatives, “I am sure that the economic collaboration and the issue of the gas price should be harmonious with the development of political relationship”. During the short-term meeting we asked the press-secretary of the RA President Victor Soghomonyan to answer to our questions. The latter said that a number of issues of common interest had been discussed, such as the regulation of the Karabagh conflict in the current stage. Both parties have also expressed their viewpoints and suggestions regarding the energy sphere and the gas price. The sides will discuss the suggestions and continue negotiations.
