The co-presidents of the OSCE Minsk group met with President of Republic of Karabagh Arkadi Ghukasyan yesterday. The meeting took place in the president’s branch in Armenia and lasted for more than an hour. The OSCE Minsk group did not present any written proposal to the president of Karabagh. “Our proposals are oral,” said Russian co-president Yuri Merzlyakov. “Why aren’t the co-presidents meeting with the president in Yerevan and not Stepanakert?” In response to this question, Arkadi Ghukasyan said: “They apologized and said that they could not visit Stepanakert due to lack of time. Besides, they got a chance to see the Yerevan branch of the Karabagh representatives and this shows the stability of the Republic of Karabagh.”
