A protest demonstration took place in one of the hotels of Sydney yesterday where Turkish Prime Minister Rajeb Tayib Erdoghan was staying at during his four day visit to Australia. The demonstration was organized by the representatives of the Armenian community of Sydney. The demonstrators had urged Erdoghan to recognize the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Earlier this year, the European Union also called on Turkey, who plans on getting admitted into the union, to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
