Forester for Kapan’s “Forest economy” Mher Andreasyan (born 1980) was arrested on December 6 by the police of Kapan. Andreasyan had cut down 17 sequoia, 9 maple and 4 hazelnut trees from the 6th forest section of Goris’s “Forest State” and made it suffer 981,790 drams in financial losses. Legal proceedings are underway at the police department.
