The Russian BAMO constructional holding plans on starting reconstruction work on the Yerevan sport/concert complex named after Karen Demirchyan in spring 2006. This announcement was made by representative of the holding Masis Khachatryan to “Regnum” news agency. He added that the company has already ordered some plans for reconstruction and the investments made for the project will depend on the chosen plan. According to preliminary calculations, the holding plans on providing 10-25 million dollars for reconstruction of the complex. According to Khachatryan, nearly 400 thousand dollars have been spent on reconstruction of the gasification and heating systems of the complex and another 300 thousand dollars on the restoration of the area near the complex.
