Pity

08/12/2005

National Assembly deputy chairman Vahan Hovhannisyan can’t announce that the referendum was fair. “I can’t say that there were no violations and fraud. The problem is that whether those violations could affect the outcome. I don’t think so”, -said Mr. Hovhannisyan. Vahan Hovhannisyan said that all those registered violations had to be sent to the public prosecutor’s office. In regard to our remark that the registered cases were sent to the public prosecutor’s office in 2003 too but no one was punished he said: “It is a pity, really it is”.
