Due to the special services team of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, all the customs workers working at the Armenian-Georgian “Sadakhlo” border were arrested on November 22. According to Russia’s “Novosti” news agency, which had information from the press center of the ministry, 18 people had been arrested. The police informed that the customs workers had let the trucks with loads pass the border by bribe and had not taxed them. Eight thousand dollars had been confiscated from the arrested. At the present, the “Sadakhlo” Georgian border is closed for all trucks and it is only open to vehicles bringing people. The workers at the border security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia are investigating the case.
