Recently Senator John Ensin and Richard Durbin presented a formula to the Senate and its adoption would approve the fact of the Armenian Genocide. “It is time for the US to bring up the true historical facts, which were brought up even by US ambassador in Ottoman Turkey Henri Morganton and US president Ronald Reagan”, -said Mr. Ensin. Senator R. Durbin said: “Armenian Genocide was the first Genocide of the 20th century, the first organized crime against humanity, where the Turks killed and tortured people. It is very important for Washington to bring up this issue”.
