– In Armenia the same archaic method of granting academic degrees without actual academic investment continues. We have numerously mentioned that education is first of all politics. It is the weapon of rectifying the role of each person in the state.
– Not having science is equal to not having weapon and armament on the battlefield although the science is being bargained and especially in the field of politics. During the years of the Cold War, and in my opinion it still continues, big powerful states are establishing special scientific directions. The goal is to divert the countries from their main directions and objectives. The enemy state was thriving to this direction and policy. They’d survey, spend money and then realize that no results have been achieved. And now in the world science there is a middle level, where talented scientists are included. Their work is being monitored by educational centers of powerful states. We first of all mean the scientists of the third world, including Armenia. After the collapse of the USSR the most part of the scientific potential was moved to the west and gave a mighty impulse to the development of these states. The ones, who didn’t leave their countries, were involved in various grant projects. And it should be aimed at monitoring the scientific thinking. For example, if the scientific capacity of Armenia was used for the development of the alternative energy, we wouldn’t have to share 50-60% of energy with ArmRusGazProm. In the opinion of certain specialists, the energy issues of Armenia could be efficiently solved without the importation of gas, local technologies and material base. And why wasn’t it done? It is a political matter. In that case the tool of ArmRusGazProm wouldn’t be born, which came out to take away immense monetary means from the Armenian population and thus conduce to migration of the people from Armenia…
– Does it turn out that the small states are condemned and couldn’t claim for scientific peaks?
– As the history of the human civilizations shows the small states with good education play a vital role in crisis situations and may play the role of big states too. And the same can be said vice versa. During our modern times it is connected with the development of the scientific development and its efficient use. Science is never much, it is always little. Recently I heard a very interesting though from one of my friends, “There is nothing that is not or will not be there.” If the society really intends to develop an actual science, the main goal of which would be the satisfaction of the genuine and spiritual demands of the society, we will do it and all the obstacles of our competitors will change us.
– Are you trying to say the society doesn’t wish so? However, the actual levers are in the hands of the authorities.
– Definitely! The most efficient method of colonization is the creation of elite. In that case there are no exact instructions on how to hinder the development of the country. It is enough to say that you can pillage your state without prohibition and all your issues can be resolved. In our country the whole political elite consists of agents of influence and straightforwardness. This is no secret. These people have submitted these functions; conduce to the development and instead receiving the permission to annihilate the financial abilities of the country by moving the capital to other countries. The government is doing its destroying job so efficiently that every two years the price of opinions in the country rises to 500 AMD, garlic – 1800 AMD and the society gets to the risk of starvation. This is absurd. The climatic conditions of our country create great opportunities for efficient agriculture development in the country and provide agricultural products for more than the Armenian population. Indeed, for that a contemporary scientific thinking is necessary. The leaders of the country are busy misinforming the society. These people are the actual sponsors of the actual shady economy, which according to various estimations amount to 70-75%.
– “Agents of influence, destructive policy.” But the leaders of the country are the nationalists – the RPA.
– The most dangerous one are the people, who speak about nationalistic ideas, Nzhdeh ideology but that allows the Jehovah’s witnesses and other sects be implanted in our society. They allow the Russian embassy to move whole villages of Armenian men to Russia for foreign work. This year they are speaking about 25000 families, which are minimum 100.000 people. They are speaking about the law on language and taking the Armenian child to a foreign school. If you wish to increase the competitiveness of the Armenian man, increase the level of foreign language teaching at schools and first of all increase the level of the Armenian language teaching. It is another thing if they are wishing to create a different person for the society with a different mental thinking. In Europe the most civilized society is the one of Finland, which has a favorable lifestyle, where education is in Finnish…
– Are you trying to say that the initiative of foreign language schools is coming from abroad and our government is agents of influence?
– If you speak to these people in the beginning they will resist by saying that they are not agents of influence and that their parents are from a different village.
– Are they harming the state on purpose or subconsciously?
– They are people, who are doing it consciously. And others don’t understand that. In the government we have avid people. The elite of Armenia has found a new prophecy for Armenia – money and is dictated by foreign professionals. The means, which were accumulated with dishonest and devious methods, cannot serve the good goal. Let me bring an example, recently in Van a Kurd when working on his hand had found a chest of gold buried by an Armenian. It means in Van there were means, which could enforce the nation and the country back in the day. But instead people preferred to collect and hide their means and as a result the enemy has taken away these means and robbed them. The enemy had taken their property too. The evidence of that is the book of Nogelas from Venezuela, who had participated in the fights of Van and was one of the commanders of the Turkish army. He simply mentions that if the residents of Van gathered and struggled jointly there they’d beat us back then. Thus, it is not logical that today we cannot withstand the current challenges. This is a consequence of thinking and morality and also will.
– And as a consequence migration has received a new wave. Even those people are leaving, who were swearing a year or two ago that they’d never leave.
– It is done intentionally. The RA government is fulfilling the task. It is create conditions, which do not allow the Armenians live in their countries. The modern political technologies do not assume a hot war. Conditions are created that make the people leave their homes and get assimilated to our nations. The land is being emptied. We are currently in that stage. The Armenian people with their problems are a moral serious issue to the world society. We were slaughtered, our territories were occupied and everybody knows that. There are two solutions to this. The international community should be moral and resolve the issue on behalf of Armenians. It means they should comply with the Woodrow Wilson project. They should do everything to make sure that Armenians are annihilated. That way they can solve their issue. The government is belying this oligarchic system in the way that the people get self-destroyed. Although I am repeating that the government is vilifying the society by emptying Armenians. The current government – the RPA, Legal State, Prosperous Armenia and indeed the vanished ARF are the implementers of these technologies.
– Can the government resolve the migration issue?
– I don’t exclude the resolution of the issue through the change of government. Only a group of good leaders should come to power, who should gain the actual ballot of the people. All types of government gather around several key persons. But these people, should be worth the trust of people and they should work on behalf of the society and must reflect the interests of the society in their policies. And as the fight of the NLR shoed there are not a few of such people among Armenians. But the media that operates with our taxes every day tells us the lie. The wife of the RPA establisher is speaking and saying, “My husband did a miracle by establishing the RPA.” I would like to ask this woman, “Don’t you see this life? Don’t you see what the RPA members are busy with right now? And I am saying that your husband established a monster, which is a real calamity for the Armenian people.” The majority of the society agrees with this statement.
– People, who leave Armenia, are frustrated and disappointed and don’t see any other way around but leaving their homes. The ones, who don’t feel like leaving are also having a problem seeing the light in the tunnel.
– The time of a moral time will come anyway. If we with the whole nation wish to save ourselves we will be able to do so. There is a way. We should first of all be demanding to ourselves and let the smart ones grow and progress in their careers instead of banning them. Otherwise our history is repeating just like Charents would say. People came out that are not able of anything but are leading the objects of the strategic importance of the country.
– When speaking of the moral slump it is interesting that we are not speaking of the role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the process.
– But our church is not in its role at all. I find it right to be silent. As the political elite is subject to cleaning so is the church elite. The leader of the church is irreligious and with his activity he’s got nothing to do with the church. The church is playing a very negative role now and it’s the fault of the church that so many sects are operating actively in Armenia. And so the church is full of infidel people. It is mingled with the secular world and enjoys all the fun of the mundane life. I don’t think it’s moral.
– I don’t think you’d avoid using all the formulations when speaking of the church.
– Yes, the religious elite of Armenia is to play a big role. The government is doing everything to disfigure the intelligentsia. The representative of the intelligentsia is a catalyst from one side and on the other hand he/she mobilizes the society. The fact that often times they are sold and corrupt demoralizes and frustrates the society. So let’s just hope that there are still good people left, who’d still unite the society for the common good.
– There are long-term projects for Armenia-2020 and even Armenia-2050. How do you see Armenia or more accurately do you see Armenia that forward?
– These are very contradicting feelings. On the one hand, I would like to see Armenia prospering, on the other hand the reality does not give a hope for that. As I see everything is getting worse faster. The reason is a group of families that are dominating in Armenian and doing everything in a manner that villagers cannot even use the water of their mountains. The water comes and goes to the river, and later goes to the Caspian Sea, but the villagers cannot use it for their lands.
– The oligarchs are big feudals already who are buying the lands from villagers and making them work on their lands.
– When you ask the oligarchs they will say that their word is work and they think about people, but they are serving for a regime which leads us nowhere. I am comparing the current year with 1991-92 as there is no sector that can be in a good state. The energetic sector is the one that generated the growth of prices. The electricity, gas, water and all the other things are more expensive now. They gave 80% of the energetic companies to the Russians by making very doubtful deeds. For example, the Sevan-Hrazdan cascade was sold for $20 million in case when its nominal price had to be $550-600 million. Why did we have to spend more than 2 billion on gasification (the society spent this money) when thee price of gas is growing in the international market? Our problems would have better solutions if this money was invested on the development of alternative means of energy production. Nobody thinks of scientific solutions for having a better life in this country. It is possible to have an optimal life in this country, but there must be scientific solutions for that.
– Everywhere in the world first of all scientists should make calculations and decide how to use water, energy and natural resources. But in this country these issues are solved in the working rooms of chinovniks.
– These chinovniks are a trouble for this country. Frankly I don’t believe that there as at least one honest person among them. Look at what is happening in the mining sector. Even in case when they have such a big copper-molybdenum company in Kajaran, they are giving a green light for opening the mines in Teghut, which is a great tragedy. After extracting and using the mines there will be big problems with processing or hiding the wastes. This problem cannot be solved even with the money they are going to pay to the state as tax payments. This means that our chinovniks will give another environmental catastrophe. The announced projects show that they are embezzling, but the society is busy with issues of surviving and cannot stand against these tendencies. They are speaking of uranium mines. It is very good that we have uranium mines but f these mines are used in the tenure of these authorities, it will result in a very bad situation in Zangezur. If we want the Armenian people and state develop, if we want to have the historical Armenia, we will need morality, brains and political will.
